Welcome to Fowlers – the oldest independent estate and letting agent in Storrington and Billingshurst. Covering the whole of West Sussex, our family-run business has been operating since 1984, when Tony Fowler established our agency to provide home movers with an honest, fair and friendly service.

Marcel Hoad

Managing Director

With 37 years at Fowlers, Marcel is an expert in residential property, land and arbitration. A Chartered Surveyor, he acts for owners, developers, and local and regional governments, and provides ‘expert witness’. A College of Estate Management graduate and Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, he bought out his cousin and company founder, Tony Fowler, in 2000. Marcel is well-known for his community involvement and fundraising, often seen commentating at Storrington’s duck race or as the target in the local custard pie event.

Paul Rolfe

Director - Storrington

Paul brings over 37 years’ experience, having previously managed both local and corporate branches of leading estate agents, before joining Fowlers, Storrington in 2010. He’s a long-suffering West Ham supporter and enjoys running, tennis and mountain biking. Paul lives locally with his wife, two teenage children and several animals.

Keith Hutchinson

FNAEA Director - Billingshurst

Keith’s estate agency career spans many years, including roles as Regional Director and Training & Development Director for a large firm. He’s won multiple national awards and held management positions locally and in Surrey. Outside of work, he enjoys vintage motorbikes, fly fishing, and walking his energetic Cockapoo with the family.

Caroline Cumber

Branch Sales Manager/Group Secretary

With over 25 years in estate agency, Caroline has been with Fowlers for over a decade. She’s a pro at selling homes and knows Storrington inside out. When she’s not closing deals, you’ll find her gardening, watching movies, or enjoying National Trust spots with her husband of over 35 years.

Lisa Wheatley

Senior Sales Negotiator

Lisa has always put customers first, having trained in retail management at Harrods. She spent her earlier career with some of the great brand names in the High Street including Aquascutum and Mothercare. Lisa is a long serving local councillor and vice-chairman of the Storrington and Sullington Parish Council. Outside of work she enjoys Pilates, visiting auction houses, and the 'odd spot' of retail therapy!

Jamie Hoad

Land Manager

Jamie knows Storrington like the back of his hand, having lived here his whole life. He specialises in land, planning and development, and new homes, with a keen eye for development potential. Jamie has extensive experience in plot sales, planning issues, new home sales, valuations, and maximising plot value.

Lindsay Plummer

Sales Negotiator

Lindsay has been part of the Fowlers team for over 16 years. She’s a local legend in Billingshurst, having previously run the Santander Agency here. Now focused on estate agency, Lindsay loves spending time with her baby granddaughter, walking her dog Bob, and tending to her garden.

Caroline Rochead

Weekend Assistant - Billingshurst

Caroline has been with Fowlers for years and, as a longtime resident of Billingshurst, she’s a walking encyclopaedia of the village and its local matters. Living in the village with her family gives her a deep understanding of the area, which is invaluable to clients. When not assisting clients, she’s busy with family or perfecting her gymnastics moves.

Kate Haigh

Weekend Assistant - Storrington

Kate has been with Fowlers for over 5 years and has lived in the area for more than 25 years. Her active involvement in community and school events has given her an excellent knowledge of local amenities and the education system. A family historian, her past life also includes working in retail, the media, advertising and marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, spinning, and Pilates.

Jonathan Evans

MARLA Lettings Director

Jon has spent most of his life in the Billingshurst and Horsham area, giving him extensive local knowledge. With 25 years in property and 20 years in lettings and property management, he’s well-versed in both local and technical legislation. Outside of work, Jon enjoys badminton and rugby, as well as cars and wine. He has an open-door policy for landlords and tenants, so pop in to see him at either the Fowlers or Courtney Green offices.

Ali Diamond

Associate

Ali joined Fowlers after a career change and hasn’t looked back. A big believer in customer service, she’s here to make sure everyone is well looked after. When she’s not working, Ali’s either enjoying water sports and the great outdoors or hanging out with her cat and dog.

Nikki Gocher

MNAEA, New Homes Associate

For the last 12 years Nikki has worked within estate agency and new homes. A Billingshurst resident for 26 years, Nikki has a wealth of local knowledge to share with buyers moving into the area. Friendly and professional, Nikki prides herself with excellent customer service to assist you with the buying and selling process. Outside of work Nikki enjoys several hobbies including learning French, drawing, long walks and quality time with family and friends.

Kate Brinkler

Residential Lettings Associate

Kate brings 20 years of financial services expertise and customer service skills to the New Homes and Lettings teams. When she’s not matching tenants to properties, she’s walking her dog Marley, or enjoying time with her two grown-up daughters. She also enjoys skiing holidays … and sunny ones too!
