Dedicated Support Throughout Your Tenancy
At Fowlers Lettings, we take pride in our tenant care. You’ll be assigned a dedicated lettings expert who will support you throughout your tenancy - from maintenance requests to tenancy agreements suited to all parties. We’re here to make your renting experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
Payments and Security
Fowlers Lettings will hold your deposit for the duration of the tenancy and register this with an approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme. The deposit will be payable at the start of your tenancy.
· Up to 5 weeks’ rent: If the annual rent is less than £50,000
· Up to 6 weeks’ rent: If the annual rent is £50,000 or more
Rent is then paid by standing order on the due date as outlined in your tenancy agreement.
You should receive your deposit back when your tenancy ends, as long as you leave the property in the same condition as when you moved in and you don’t owe any rent.


Tenancy Agreement
Tenancy agreements typically run for 12 months with a minimum term of 6 months and may include break clauses if agreed upon before signing. When renting with another person, you will be jointly and severally liable for rent payments throughout the tenancy.
We advise tenants to seek independent legal advice before signing if they are unsure of their obligations under the tenancy agreement.

Pets / Smoking
Most tenancy agreements restrict both pets and smoking as standard. However, permission can be granted at the landlord’s discretion, so check with us to see if written consent is required.
